Robert Michael Loughan (born July 7, 1965) is an American entrepreneur and investor best known for the sale of Octane Software, the company he co-founded, for 3.2 billion dollars.[1][2] [3][4] Loughan co-founded the venture capital firm Sagus Capital Partners.[5] He was the founder of Dexterra Inc[6][7] and is the current CEO and Chairman of Conductiv Software [8][9] Loughan owns Thistle Hill Winery in Mudgee, NSW Australia which produces the 2009 NSW Wine Award’s best organic wine in Australia.[10] Loughan is also the co-founder and co-owner of Baldface Lodge in British Columbia,[11] named by GQ Magazine as the one of the top ten hippest hotels.[12]
