The Student Life Organization, SLO, or Student Life is a SABIS educational approach used for students. It is basically a student-led society in SABIS schools across the world. It provides development of student's academic, managerial, organizational, and leadership skills. Some academic-based activities include student tutoring, planning school events, organizing community service projects, and being involved in the school newspaper and yearbook. Student life is led by a Student Life Coordinator or SLC. being part of SLO can also lead to being a more likely top candidate for top universities around the world. It also creates discipline prefects in the school, led by a Head Prefect.

Prefects

Discipline Prefects

A discipline prefect is like a hall monitor. They receive posts in the school every day (8th grade hall, bathroom, etc.). They look for good discipline and bad discipline.

Academic Prefects

An academic prefect is a prefect who oversees tutoring and student grades. Academic prefects are usually student tutors.

Head Prefect

The Head Prefect oversees all of the prefects. Being Head Prefect is like being the head student leader of a school.

Student Life Coordinator (SLC)

The Student Life Coordinator, or SLC, is the coordinator for SLO. He/she usually fills out the discipline prefect's schedule and the SLO activity sheets for the whole school.
