Span of Attention Span

How long is the average attention span? I've heard a minute 30, or 30 seconds or 15 even. I think the article should say what the commonly accepted one is (if there is differing oppinion) and state why others are considered Gohst 14:19, 13 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Music psychology

It was mentioned that television viewing may result in a reduction in one's attention span.

I would like to pose the hypothesis that listening to specific types of music distracting to the listener would reduce their concentration and attention span as well.
