Change Names To Original Macedonian Spellings

Why are the names of the Macedonian dynasty in greek styled, i canot understand why someone is trying to change history, please put them back to their original Macedonian style (or macedonian Slav as only Wikipedia says >:< )next to the english thak you --08:52, 18 November 2005 Intranetman

Dude, they were not ethnic Slavs, and they ruled over an empire whose official language was Greek. "Macedonian" refers to the Byzantine province or "thema" of Macedonia, which was actually located where European Turkey is today (and so has no connection to the modern Republic of Macedonia in Skopje). hahahahahaha, i've seen some delusional skopjeans in my time, but you take the prize for being the most delusional! You'll have a hard time proving these people spoke and wrote in slavic. Macedonians (the real ones) were Hellenized since about 600BC.

hey you greek i'll be back with a information about the non-greek origin. it is a long discission and you my friend are blind.you see it's the tribe and their name that defines the name of the land they are occupying not vise versa. Vasilij(or Basil) is named Bugaro ubiec(or killer of Bulgars) so he isn't Bulgarian.and about the greek origin i can say one thing:it's not the official culture of an empire that defines the etnic origin of the natives i.e. Macedonian.

Still waiting for that evidence skopjean... Prove these people were related to the Slavic inhabitants of Slavoskopje, prove they spoke Slavic as a first language, and prove they were ethnically slavic and I may just listen. The Official Culture of the Empire certainly doesn't define the origin of the natives, but it goes some way, along with the majority ethnic population (Greeks), and the widely spoken language.
You skopjeans just don't get it, we could take your 2 bit country in 2 days if we wanted to, we wouldn't even need more than 1 division and about 5 F-16's.--GreekWarrior 17:13, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
