Amele Adefemi Olubunmi D. popurlarly known as Femi D is a Nigerian broadcaster, radio talk show host, writer, and centrist political commentator.[1][2]

Early life and Career

Femi D (born November 14, 1983) At the age 14, FemiD developed a strong interest in broadcasting describing it has the most intelligent career anyone in public eye can have. His talk show began in 2010 at Awka, Anambra State radio station UNIZIK FM, featuring a new format on national and international politics through commentary and listener calls. In 2011, FemiD joined the now defunt 234next newspaper as a multimedia journalist. Later in 2011 he joined in Cool FM. He also worked with the first talk radio in Nigeria, Nigeria Info FM.[3] He joined the management team of Jay FM as the head of news while concurrently heading the programs department for the regional broadcast station on the Plateau in Jos, Nigeria. He currently resides in FCT Abuja and Jos, Nigeria where he broadcasts FemiDlive Show.

Achievements and recognition

FemiD's work has been recognized through awards such as best on air personality Nigeria Broadcasters Merit Awards 2016; Winner and National Dream Personality Award 2016. He is also the winner, Guardian, Beacon of Literacy Award 2015; Winner, Award, Economic Power Award 2015; Winner, Best Director, HD Film Academy Script to Screen 2014 Awards; Finalist Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Presenter for the year 2014;Winner, Personality of the year 2012, Bayero University, Lagos State Students; Finalist, Nigeria Radio Awards, Sports Presenter of the year in 2011 and Nominated for Climate Change TV Award in 2010.He is also a finalist as best on personality in the Who IS Who Awards 2017.
