Gail Curry (born 16 February 1964)[1] is a 6 time English Croquet Champion player winning the Women's Championship 5 out of 6 consecutive seasons in the 1990s. [2]
Early Life
Curry attended Ralph Gardner High School in North Shields, Tyne and Wear, England. [3]
Croquet
Curry won the Croquet Association Women's Championship in 1991, 1992, 1993, 1995,1996 & 2003[2] and the Double's Championship in 1992 & 2001.[2]
She was the editor of Croquet Gazette between 1996 and 2001.[3]
Career
Curry trained as a Youth Worker. Later obtaining a degree from the Open University, she went on to become a Social Worker. [3]
There followed a career as a Professional Photographer travelling the world. [4]
She is now an Artist, Writer & Poet. Running a Community Interest Company, as a Founder and Director, called Happy Planet Creative Arts C.I.C. [4]
