Omari Patrick (born 1 January 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays for Bradford City, as a Centre Forward.
Career
Omari started his career with the FAB Academy before joining Beaconsfield Town of the Evostick Southern League, making 49 appearances and scoring 14 goals.[1]
He joined Kidderminster Harriers in December 2015 after a successful trial with the midlands side and made 19 appearances in the 15/16 season.[2]
On the 21st September 2016 Patrick signed 1 year contract with Barnsley after impressing in their U23 squad.[3]
After a short stint at Barnsley Patrick signed for Bradford City on 10th May 2017[4] and traveled with the team for their pre-season training camp in Austria ahead of the 2017/18 Season, scoring once for the Bantams during their friendly against German side TV Echterdingen on the 15th July 2017.[5]
On Saturday 5th August 2017, Patrick made his first start for Bradford City against Blackpool.
Personal Life
Patrick is the godson of Jamaican-born British former sprinter Linford Christie and his father is a commonwealth games gold medalist.[6]
