Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster at RCDB

Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster is a upcoming steel roller coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, set to open in March of 2018. The coaster will be themed to the DC Comics character, Wonder Woman. Along with RailBlazer, it will be the first of its kind in the world when it opens.[1][2]

History

Several years in the making, the first signs of anything happening significantly in the park to prepare for a 2018 attraction was the announcement of the closure of Power Surge in mid-summer 2017.[2][3][4] After the water ride closed on July 23, the park started teasing the new attraction. A week and a half later on August 3, 2017, the park announced a first of its kind roller coaster, just like in 2015, introducing the new Rocky Mountain Construction single-rail coaster concept.
