Akala (rapper)
Akala, real name Kingslee Daley, is a British rap and grime artist. He is the brother of the famous Ms. Dynamite, who has proved to be much more successful than him since, as yet, none of his singles have reached the Top 40 of the Official UK Singles Chart. A further single is due for release in July, and has seen airplay on various radio stations and music channels including BBC Radio 1 and BBC 1Xtra.
His name is a Buddhist term meaning immovable. He released his first album, It's Not A Rumour on May 1st, 2006. In September, 2006, he won a Mobo Award for best hip-hop artist. [1]
He has collaborated with a number of artists such as Jammer, Baby Blu, Earz and many others.
