Gaadri (Punjabi: گادڑی) is a clan of Jats today mostly found in northern parts of India and in Pakistan.[1][2][3] According to 1911 census of India, Gurdaspur district has Gaadri population of 555. Later, some of them migrated to Sindh's district Sanghar, in present day Pakistan.

Origin

According to them, they are the decendents of kings' brother Gad.[4]

Languages

Their native languages today are Punjabi, Sindhi and Urdu. However, they also speak other languages.
