Seaman 2: Pekin Genjin Ikusei Kit (シーマン2 〜北京原人育成キット〜, lit. "Seaman 2: The Peking Man Rearing Kit") is a virtual pet video game for the PlayStation 2. It is the sequel to Seaman on the Dreamcast. In this game, players act as god of a miniature island, charged with the task of rearing Gabo, a 20-centimeter tall Peking Man, communicating through a custom microphone-equipped gamepad.[1]

Gameplay

Seaman 2 plays much like the original Seaman, but instead of playing as an actual inhabitant the player is much more of a god, with the ability to alter environments to give things to the island's inhabitants.[2]

The games introduces player as theather show in screen various of type of animals and various commercials about chocolate and japanese restaurants the second thing for do its whirl until make solar system and create "bing bang" (note: normally the same ask the date of console and asks about you create data in the game because its necessary) like in the first game you throw in the water egg raise temperature until the game trigger the first event volcano awokens and temperature raises more quickly the time passes and there are more eggs than before that means temperature causes they multiply the eggs you must protect the eggs your tool to defend against them is the ray the worms come to the surface and begin to acquire a "scaly" appearance the land is taking life vegetation comes from nothing and what at first was an arid volvanic place now seems to be more an island you can interact with banana trees and make easy the life of peking man in the island your task its feed him and make healthy and strong to survive and finally escape island as a sign of gratitude tells you to accompany them somewhere the subject (peking man) seems to have something buried in the earth and is about to unearth it seems it is a kind of tool that may later save some kind of utility the time passes and birdman appears (you easy recognices if you played the first game) when the day comes to end normally birdman visits your island and all you can do is answer his question exists food for him the outcome for that its money in case you dont have nothing birdman wants forgive him and the cycle the game turns normally the toold is used for attract attention for peking because his attention are limited you need patience for him and you teach him learn news words meanwhile your next task its open myterious pink egg its a peking woman appareantly the island is small and peking woman runs out you need tell peking man how “seduce her” birdman talks about how have all raquired for make new life the difficult task is done and two pekings enter in cave for create new life days later peking man show the new life in his hand and show the player sign of gratitude the progress the game depends the clothes and patiencie of player after all your task in game its survive gain money create new life and gather tools birdman its part of adventure because he gave money and everytime tells the player everything as you can know [3]

Reception

Seaman 2 was the top-selling game during the week of its release in Japan at 33,000 copies.[4] The game sold a total of 61,878 copies in the region in 2007.[5]
