"Europeans of the Year" is an award given to ten influential European citizens. Every year, European Voice selects 50 people who have most influenced the European legislative and political agenda in the past year. The list includes European Commissioners, MEPs, Heads of State, Politicians, EU Fonctionnaires, NGOs, Campaigners and European citizens. Following a poll, the results of which are announced at a gala dinner, ten people out of the list of 50 receive the "Europeans of the Year" awards. The winners also choose an organization to which European Voice makes donations on their behalf.
