CryptoKitties is a game that involves one of-a-kind digital kitties, cryptocurrency and users who buy, sell, and sire their digital kitties. CryptoKitties lets players buy and breed “crypto-pets” on Ethereum’s underlying blockchain network. A test version of CryptoKitties was unveiled last weekend at ETH Waterloo in October 19, 2017, the largest Ethereum hackathon in the world.

As of December 2, the game’s top cat brought in $117,712.12 (£87,686.11) when it sold on Saturday, 2 December.

The virtual cats are breedable and carry a distinct 256bit genome with unique DNA and different attributes that can be passed to offspring. T4 billion possible cats that can be bred. They're all pretty cute and can pass on traits such as having striped fur, spots or a certain eye color.
