  • Orthodoxy is adherence to accepted norms, more specifically to creeds, especially in Christianity and Judaism as examples
  • Eastern Orthodox Church, a Christian church that accepts seven Ecumenical Councils
  • Oriental Orthodoxy, a Christian communion that accepts three Ecumenical Councils
  • Communion of Western Orthodox Churches, a family of Christian churches that accept the first three Ecumenical Councils, as well as the doctrinal declarations of the following four councils
  • Western Rite Orthodoxy, referring to theology, traditions, institutions and communities of Western-Rite Orthodox Churches
  • Paleo-orthodoxy, a movement in Christianity aimed at upholding the historic teachings of the Church
  • Neo-orthodoxy, a theological position also known as dialectical theology
