Lanji is a tehsil in Balaghat district of Madhya pradesh.[1] It is famous for its Fort, known as Lanji fort. Lanji is approximately 62 km from Balaghat. Buses are available to reach Lanji from Balaghat. Lanji is a Naxalite region, connected with chhattisgarh border surrounded by deep forests. A holy place named Koteshwar temple (lord shiva temple) is situated in Lanji. A place named Gangli-raja, made up by the gond kingdom is also here.
