Kenyetta,

Your article is really coming together well. You have a lot of really strong information. However, I did have a few critiques. In your article, you capitalize Black quite often. As I am aware, if the word is not apart of a proper noun it shouldn’t be capitalized. However, I would double check. In the second sentence, the word with should come before an and after people. I would add some additional sources and links. There are a few sentences that I think could use a citation such as the first sentence in the second paragraph. In the third sentence in the second paragraph, you said “… has been cited as one of the earliest celebrations.” Who has cited it? In the first sentence of the third paragraph I would add the word “is” after (CBE) and before an. I would a comma after Fowles and Norton in the second sentence of the third paragraph. Your draft looks great! I did not know anything about the movement, but now I feel I understand the basics of the movement!

I have one comment here and left other comments on your draft in your sandbox.

I was wondering some of the courses you used can be counted as "reliable." Although I know all sources are from websites of public newspapers and magazines, I found some of the articles that you used are categorized as "opinion."

As they must have been reviewed before published, it should be fine, but still, I wonder if they could be regarded as something like blog posts.

Thank you for developing this interesting and important article!
