Solanum africanum is a species of plant found in South Africa[1]. The plant typically occurs near the coast up to an altitude of 200m [2].

Description

Morphology

Solanum africanum is a perennial herbaceous shrub or climber growing up to 3 meters tall.[3] Flowers are white to lilac with yellow centre. Leaves are simple, green, ovate to elliptic with acute apex and margin is entire. The fruit is a berry, black when ripe.
