Žnjan is the largest beach in Split.[1] It is located in the eastern part of the city. It is mostly a pebble beach.

Along the beach there is a promenade connecting Žnjan with the nearby beach Trstenik.

Žnjan is currently in the process of demolition[2] and reconstruction which should be finished by July 1, 2018.[1]

The new beach complex should include recreational and sports facilities, green areas, restaurants, and beach bars.
