Duke of Talleyrand

The Duke of Talleyrand was the ruler of the Maison de Talleyrand-Périgord during the 8th to 13th centuries, adding after multiple titles to the dukedom. Merging the House from members of families from Spain, France and also Italy, the first duke was initiated in 845.

After the death H.Violette de Talleyrand-Perigord in 1968, the title of duke was for the first time extended to a far family member (cousin), as the last duke remained sans postérité.

The title was merged with the House of Morly in 1977, owned by the Henry family, and passed to the Henry Salas-Perez. The latter own the titles for both dukedoms plus the Relatifs.

As of 2018, the duke of Talleyrand-Périgord is Arnaud Henry Salas-Perez, 5th Duc de Talleyrand, 5th Duc de Morny. Without posterité as of July 2018.
