Bella’s Gentlemen’s Club, also known as Bella’s Hacienda, is a brothel and bar located in Wells, Nevada.[1] It is one of the legal brothels in Nevada that hosts sex workers who provide sexual services to patrons. It is also one of seven in Wells.[2][3] Slate included pictures of Bella’s Hacienda in a feature titled “Inside the American Brothel” detailing prostitution in Nevada.[4]
The club has an electronic sign that posts euphemistic witticisms such as “Cum One Cum Call” and “What Swells in Wells Stays in Wells”.[5]
In reference to the hospitalization of Lamar Odom, the proprietor of club, Bella Cummins, discussed health issues at brothels. She told Men’s Health that “If someone has any kind of anomaly, it is dealt with it accordingly during the party. Even if we have to stop the party while they get their body back into line, whatever they need in order to make sure that nothing like that happens.”[6]
