The fifth season of MasterChef Canada originally aired on April 3, 2018 on CTV and concluded on June 19th with Sherwood Park's Beccy Stables (from Grimsby, UK) winning the trophy, title, and $100,000 prize money.[1] At 19, Stables is now the youngest champion in the history of MasterChef Canada, and for that matter, she is also the youngest female contestant ever to appear and compete on the show. Following her victory, Beccy and her family moved to the Okanagan in Kelowna, B.C., to kick-start her catering career and to continue to inspire young people, like herself, to enter the kitchen and refrain from living off pizza delivery and UberEats.[2][3] This season is scheduled to air on June 26th, 2018 on TLC in India.[4][5]
