Signature and "four tildes."

I noticed that you wrote the phrase "four tildes" after a Talk page comment that you added. I believe it was your intention to add a signature to the comment, and that you misunderstood Wikipedia's instructions regarding signatures. It's not that you should type the phrase "four tildes," but rather that you should type the tilde symbol four times. The tilde symbol is the squiggly line that is usually typed by holding Shift and tapping a key near the top-left corner of the keyboard, below the Esc key. --DavidK93 (talk) 17:41, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]


No. I just think it's stupid to have to type something if the website can and should fill it in automatically.
