1955 United States gubernatorial elections

United States gubernatorial elections were held in on November 7th, 1955, in two states. Kentucky and Mississippi hold their gubernatorial elections in odd numbered years, every 4 years, preceding the United States presidential election year. This was the last time Louisiana did not hold an election in the year before Presidential elections.
