Dj Zinhle Is a female South African deejaying pioneer who served as the resident DJ on the SABC1 music show Jika Majika and hosted her own radio show on YFM. She is also an actress, having appeared on television series like Rhythm City and eKasi: Our Stories, she also produced her woman empowerment TV show, It Takes A Village, which aired on SABC 1. Zinhle continued empowering females in 2018, through her book "Meeting Your Power", which was co-written by life coach, Nokubonga Mbanga.

Earrly Life

Ntombezinhle Jiyana also known as Dj Zinhle was born on 30 November 1983 in Dannahauser KZN. She has got two siblings Zak Jiyane and Gugu Jiyane, her mom jiyane is an independent teacher who works hard, this is how the Dj learned to work hard and also to not expect anything from anyone.Growing up, the Dj was teased about her broad shoulders and was compared to a man, however she learned to love and accept her body. Her role model in high school was michael Jackson, she loved Michael Jackson dearly and his death caused excruciating pain on her such that she cried.

Career

She stepped onto the South African DJ scene at a time when it was still very much of a man’s world, but this talented lady quickly managed to turn some heads with her crazy skills on the decks. She even grabbed the attention of some of Mzansi’s most respected DJs, such as DJ Oskido, and has today become one of the best female house DJs.
