Jim Ellison is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives.[1] He is a member of the Democratic Party.

Before joining the Michigan State House, Ellison was the longest serving mayor of Royal Oak, Michigan, serving from 2001 until he vacated the office in 2016 to take his seat in the state legislature.[2]
