Lamma Bada Yatathanna لما بدا يتثنى is an Arabic muwashshah of the Nahawand maqam[1]. The poem is considered one of the most famous Arabic pieces of it's era[2]. As a song, it has been covered in modern times by Arabic artists including Fairuz and Lena Chamamyan.

The author of the piece is disputed, and thought to be either Lisan al-Din Ibn al-Khatib or Muhammad Abdulrahim Al-Maslub.
