Tyler Christopher Herro (born January 20, 2000) is an American college basketball player for the Kentucky Wildcats in the Southeastern Conference (SEC).

High school career

Herro attended Whitnall High School in Greenfield, Wisconsin.[1] During Herro's senior year in high school, he averaged 32.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 3.3 steals per game. Throughout that year, he also shot better than 50 percent from the floor and 43.5 percent from the three-point line. Throughout his entire high school career, Herro tallied over two thousand points.[2] Herro originally committed to the University of Wisconsin on September 12, 2016. Nearly a year later, Herro de-committed from Wisconsin.[3]

On November 14, 2017, Herro committed to play college basketball at the University of Kentucky.

College career

On February 27, 2019, Herro scored a career high 29 points in a 70–66 win over Arkansas.[4]

Personal life

Tyler has two brothers, Austin, and Myles. His parents are named Jennifer and Christopher.[5]
