Ka Eddie, Eddie Boy, is the grandson of Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) founder Felix Y. Manalo and is the son of the current INC Executive Minister Erano G. Manalo. He is now the current deputy Executive Minister if the INC, an indigenous church in the Philippines founded in 1914. He is currently being groomed to soon replace his father as head of the church.

He was born in October 31, 1955, to Erano Manalo and Christina Villanueva. Prior to accepting his administrative role in the church, he was an active amateur radio enthusiast and ran a local radio frequency BBS (bulletin board service) back when internet in the Philippines was non-existent.

Eddie Boy, representing the church, figured in the May 1, 2001 rebellion plot against the government of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo (GMA) when tens of thousands of INC members were among those that trooped to EDSA (Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue) to protest the arrest of the previously ousted President, Joseph Ejercito Estrada. No charges were filed against him, or against INC, although it is believed that GMA made negotiated that INC, known for block voting, support majority of the administration candidates for Senator.
