Talk:Dask (software)
Notability
This is a fairly widely used library I think: Its github page has 4600+ stars https://github.com/dask/dask and it's been mentioned in lots of places, e.g:
- https://www.datacamp.com/courses/parallel-computing-with-dask
- https://www.zdnet.com/article/nvidia-gpus-for-data-science-analytics-and-distributed-machine-learning-using-python-with-dask/
- https://opensource.com/article/19/4/parallel-computation-python-dask
I first heard about it because the UK MET Office is using it (and presented it at a talk in Manchester at the Advances in Data Science 2017 or 2018). Lionfish0 (talk) 09:07, 25 April 2019 (UTC)
Other examples,
- From http://matthewrocklin.com/blog/work/2018/07/16/dask-stories there's additional examples

Contested deletion
This page should not be speedily deleted because this is a widely used bit of software that I wanted to read a bit more about and doesn't have a wikipedia page. I've added some links to random pages with people talking about it. I've not got time at the moment to expand the actual article. --Lionfish0 (talk) 09:09, 25 April 2019 (UTC)
