GoLinks is an enterprise link management solution operated by the American company GoLinks Enterprises, Inc., headquartered in San Jose, California, that offers link management and URL shortening services accessible through secure Single sign-on. GoLinks was founded in 2016 by Jorge Zamora as a startup company, with initial funding from seed accelerator Y Combinator.[1]

Concept

GoLinks provides a scalable link management solution for enterprises in a centralized dashboard. Any employee in a company can access, edit and share any link within the company making it a scalable solution for all of a company's important links.[2]

History

GoLinks founder Jorge Zamora conceived the GoLinks concept after noticing a common theme. He would visit his friends who worked at other tech companies in Silicon Valley and he noticed the same thing over and over: go/links. The links would be posted in the cafeterias, break rooms, and hallways. Zamora saw that these golink applications could be improved significantly, and could be made general and available to the public as a service.[3]

GoLinks officially launched at Y Combinator's W19 Demo Day 2.[4]

Platforms

GoLinks has browser extensions for Google Chrome, Safari Firefox, Opera and Brave[5]

Financials

GoLinks received initial funding from seed accelerator Y Combinator. [6]
