Nathaniel Raphael Jones (born 1926) is a former United States federal judge.

Jones was born in Youngstown, Ohio. He received a A.B. from Youngstown State University in 1951. He received a LL.B. from Youngstown State University in 1955. He was in the United States Army Air Corps from 1945 to 1946. He was an Editor, Buckeye Review in 1956. He was an Executive Director, Fair Employment Practices Commission, Youngstown, Ohio from 1956 to 1959. He was in private practice of law in Youngstown, Ohio from 1959 to 1961. He was an Assistant U.S. attorney from 1961 to 1967. He was an Assistant general counsel, National Advisory Commission on Civil Disorders from 1967 to 1968. He was in private practice of law in Youngstown, Ohio from 1968 to 1969. He was a General counsel, NAACP from 1969 to 1979.

Jones was a federal judge to the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Jones was nominated by President Jimmy Carter on August 28, 1979, to a seat vacated by John Weld Peck. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on October 4, 1979, and received commission on October 5, 1979. Assumed senior status on May 13, 1995. Jones's service was terminated on March 30, 2002, due to retirement.
