Plasma climb

Plasma climbing is the ability to make short jumps, whether across obstacles or just to escape a fellow player by aiming a plasma gun directly below you and firing. The resulting plasma orbs enable the player to essentially jump, albeit with the side effect of taking splash damage from the plasma gun. It is especially useful in god mode. One game in which this move is beneficial is Quake III Arena.
