Biographical Sketch

I created this account to participate in Wikipedia: Wikipedia:Meetup/Feminists Engage Wikipedia. I'm an academic whose work deals with literature, eighteenth-century studies, feminist theory/gender studies, Orientalism, transatlantic studies, Mediterranean studies, post-colonial studies, and a bit of digital humanities. This is mainly a practice account that I hope to replace as I work more on Wikipedia, or think of a better user name.

I helped organize Writing for Wadewitz: an Adrianne Wadewitz Memorial Edit-a-thon (Summer 2014)

I am currently in the planning stages for an Edit-A-Thon on African American Classicists (because Frank M Snowden's page needs so much work!)
