Aloys Wobben (born 22 January 1952)[1] is a German businessman, founder and owner of the wind turbine company Enercon.

Aloys Wobben was born in Germany, and has a bachelor's degree from the University of Oldenburg. According to Forbes, Wobben has a net worth of $5.9 billion and is #334 on the Forbes billionaire list as of July 2019.[1] Wobben is married with one child and lives in Aurich.[1]
