Suresh Krishnan is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Malayalam and Bollywood cinema. Suresh made his directorial debut with Bharatheeyam (1997) which won Best children's movie award, Achaneyanenikkishtam (2001), Vasanthamalika (2002), Pathinonnil Vyazham (2010).

Biography

Suresh Krishnan (02nd May 1966) was born in Trivandrum to M V Krishnan Nair and Saraswathy Amma. He studied at SMV School, Thiruvananthapuram and graduated from Mahatma Gandhi College, Thiruvananthapuram. During his school, college day he represented College Cricket team and was a prominent member in club cricket

Early life

Suresh started his career in film as an assistant director to well-known filmmakers like Rajiv Anchal, Sreekuttan, and Priyadarshan. Suresh assisted Rajiv Anchal in Butterflies, Kashmeeram, Guru and was associated with Priyadarshan in more than 25 movies (Mostly Bollywood movies) including Bhool Bhulayya, Malamaal Weekly, De Dana Dan, Kanchivaram (which won National Award in 2007). Suresh is the seventeenth contestant in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 2, a show hosted by Malayalam actor Mohanlal.
