Sayyid Asad bin Tariq bin Teimur al-Said (Arabic: أسعد بن طارق بن تيمور) is an Omani politician and member of the Royal Family.[1] He is the brother of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, and the first cousin of former Sultan Qaboos.[2] He is also the current Deputy Prime Minister for relations and international cooperation affairs Sultanate of Oman.[3][4][5] He was named Deputy Prime Minister on March 3, 2017 by a royal decree.[2]
