Ideas for new Numismatics awards

[edit]

Wikimoney

[edit]

Wikimoney would be coin or banknote shaped barnstar-like awards.

  • WikiDollar: The standard award, used in place of the standard barnstar. The ribbon version would be the One-WikiDollar Banknote.
    • Main award: A round silver-colored coin with a bust of Jimmy Wales in the center, the inscription "Wikipedia" above his head, "In Jimbo We Trust" beside, and "One WikiDollar" below.
    • Ribbon: Similar to the US 1-dollar bill, but with the bust of Jimmy Wales, the inscription "James Wales" below, "THIS NOTE IS NOT MONEY AND MAY NOT BE USED AS SUCH".
  • Gold WikiDollar: For when a WikiDollar just isn't enough. The ribbon version would be the One-WikiDollar Gold Certificate.
    • Main award: Gold-colored version of the WikiDollar.
    • Ribbon: Same as the WikiDollar ribbon but with gold highlights.
  • Half WikiDollar: Used in place of the Half Barnstar. The ribbon version would be half the One-WikiDollar Banknote.
