Segun Adebutu is a Nigerian businessperson. He is the CEO of Petrolex Oil and Gas and a Director of Premier Lotto Nigeria, a gambling company based in Nigeria.[1][2]

Background

Adebutu is born to the family of Kesington Adebukunola Adebutu, Founder and Chairman, Premier Lotto Nigeria Limited, who hails from Iperu Remo, Ikenne Local Government, and Caroline Oladunni, from Odogbolu, both in Ogun State, South West Nigeria.[3]

Controversy

Adebutu was quizzed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on January 28, 2020 at the anti-graft Lagos office for economic sabotage and tax fraud associated with Premier Lotto, a company he is an Executive Director of.[4][5][6] In a reaction, Segun Adebutu claimed he only honoured an invitation by the anti-graft agency[7]

Segun Adebutu is the founder of Oladiran Olusegun Adebutu (OOA) Foundation, a not-for-profit and non-political organisation, which was formally launched on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Abeokuta, Ogun State, South West Nigeria.[8]
