I jettisoned my career as an expert MySQL DBA to become a product manager at MongoDB; I am an avid knitter and spinner. I enjoy helping others learn; whether it is working one-on-one, leading a training, or speaking at a user group meeting or conference.

I enjoy singing along to almost any kind of music (if it has words), especially while driving or riding in a car.

I currently live in Boston, Massachusetts. I grew up in Oakland and Wyckoff, New Jersey, and have also lived in Cambridge, Somerville, Massachusetts and Watertown, Massachusetts.
