| Abilities | Controls the power over earth. She is able to move the earth at will and alter plants by manipulating their growth pattern. (Geokinesis and Chlorokinesis) Also possesses telekinetic powers, able to move objects from afar. |
Cornelia Hale is 14 year old, and the second-oldest of the group. She attends Heatherfield Institute with the other girls. She is a competitive ice-skater and has won numerous medals for her skills displayed in the sport. She has a cat named Napoleon, and a younger sister named Lilian who is somewhat of a pain in the neck. She has long blonde hair, and blue eyes. Cornelia is voiced by Christel Khalil in the TV series.
Personality
Cornelia is somewhat a materialistic person, who cares a lot about her looks. Cornelia is also overconfident and thinks she can do just about anything by herself. Still she is deep down a considerate person who can be very romantic. She is not always the most positive person, but manages to get through obstacles with an attitude. She is shown to be vain and quite narssistic.
Relationships
Before being friends with and apart of W.I.T.C.H. Cornelia was best friends with Elyon Brown first, and friends with also Hay Lin and Irma. When Will AND Taranee came to town she was open to them being part of the group, but through trials of the guardians and friendship, she proved that she had become best friends with Will and the others, without alienating Elyon, even though she sometimes was left out. Cornelia isn't flirty, as her heart belongs to Caleb. When she harbours a crush on a boy, she keeps it to herself. Her best friend within W.I.T.C.H. is considered Taranee.
Cornelia Hale is the guardian of earth. At first she thought her powers were lame because she could only grow plants, but she quickly discovered her powers were much more important than that, and learned how to create earthquakes, and control stone, wood and ground.
Advanced Element Abilities
Cornelia only discovered the her elemental power when Yan Lin told her. She discovered her telekinetic powers at home, which she found out accidentally when she had to tidy her room to go to the hallowe'en disco. While she uses her earth abilities to save the world, but she uses her telekinetic abilities for personal gain.When she taps into her abilities even deeper,she transforms into a dryad.
Trivia
- Cornelia can't swim, and seems to be hydrophobic.
