Kanye Quest 3030 was a Japanese role playing game [1] [2][3][4]published on July 22nd 2013[5] being only avaible on Windows PC.[1][6] The game was unliscenced and unauthorised[1] [4][2]by Kanye West the same person the game stars. It was published on the website rpgmaker by a user named "Phenix".[1][5] The game describes itself as a Hip hop themed Science fiction 2D Role playing game.[2][3]

Plot

In the year 2010 Kanye West takes out his garbage before tripping and falling into a portal. This portal brings him to the year 3030. At this time the United States of America has become a dystopian society ruled by a clone of rapper Lil B now claiming himself to be a god. A prophecy exists in this reality claiming that Kanye West would return one day and overthrow Lil B.

With this knowledge Kanye West now travels this dystopian America and teams up with other musicians such as Jay Z, 2 Pac and RZA to fight to free America. Along the way they are challenged by other musicians such as Eminem, Nicki Minaj, De La Soul and LL Cool J. Upon completing the game Kanye West declares himself the one true "base" God and returns to 2010 America where he puts away the trash.

The game is played similarity to the Pokémon series. Each rapper has their own speacil moves and abilities based on In-joke within the rapping community. The player is challenged by different rappers wandering the streets and most defeat them to level up and progress in the game.[6]

Ascensionism

In 2015 a paste in article was made that claimed if the player typed in the word "Ascend" into an in game console that the player would be taken to a secret section of the game.[7][8][9] In this secret section the game would claim that the rest of the games contents was a front for this area which it claimed is the real game. After inputting the needed commands the player would then be asked to give the game their private info and was instructed to wait to be contacted.[8]

This was believed by some to be connected to a group called Ascenionism that entered Urban legend around the same time as the game being released.[5] Ascenionism is apparently a cult that beliefs in reincarnation and was hoping to recruit more members with the game Kanye Quest. They also are rumoured to have connections with record labels such as "Ascension Records."[9] [5]Another game would be connected to this group called Calypso in which the player completes tasks around a house while voicemails intended for the group played in the background.[5]

It is generally presumed that this is all part of an abandoned Alternate reality game[7]
