Kipchak (Aimaq tribe)

Afghan Kypchaks are Aimaq (Taimeni) tribe of Kazakh origin that can be found in Obi district to the east of western Afghan province of Gerat, between the rivers Farakhrud and Gerirud. Afghan Kypchaks together with the Durzais and Kakars, two other tribes of Pushtun origin, constitute Taimeni tribe. There are approximately 440,000 Afghan Kypchaks.
