Comment: Some tone problems to be fixed (like "further official recognition"). I might try to work on it later, but you might help as well! Eumat114 formerly The Lord of Math (Message) 01:54, 28 April 2020 (UTC)
Comment: I've just fixed things up. Pls see if this is okay. Eumat114 formerly The Lord of Math (Message) 09:34, 27 April 2020 (UTC)
Comment: Sources 4 to 14 are all self-published. A bit informal in tone but not enough to decline. Self-published sources can be placed in a "==Works==" section. Eumat114 formerly The Lord of Math (Message) 08:45, 27 April 2020 (UTC)
James Peter Stanton (PSM) (born 1940) is an Australian landscape ecologist and biogeographer who individually conducted many systematic environmental resource surveys throughout Queensland whilst working for the Queensland National Parks department in the 1960s and 1970s. He carried out assessments in several national parks in Queensland, causing the protection many threatened natural habitats throughout the state within a large new area of National Parks. He became the first Australian recipient of the IUCN Fred M. Packard Award at the Third World Congress on National Parks in Bali in 1982.[1][2] He was awarded the Public Service Medal of Australia in the 1996 Australian Honours ceremony.[3]
