Hello, I wanted to thank you for helping me. I have a few questions and I'll be forever grateful if you can help me again. If I'm the owner of the picture that i made myself how i should credit, also do i need the written consent in english if i was to use a picture that it's not mine? Oh! also if the imagen comes from the personality SNS like twitter or instagram. What is the way to credit it? Thank you again Nayramoo (talk) 01:24, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Nayramoo: I've only recently started venturing into the image side of Wikipedia so I don't want to give you any wrong information, I'm still learning it all myself too. I think my best advice at this moment would be to read through the various policies, guidelines and information pages regarding images, such as the following:
Anything further than that I would suggest asking an editor with more experience in the image side of things. If in doubt, you can always ask for help. You could try asking the Wikicommons administrator on your talk page on Wikimedia Commons, too. Alex (talk) 01:43, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Filmography

Hi, I am new to Wikipedia and have some enquiries about variety shows. I have noticed that guest appearances should not be listed. However, on Jeon So-mi’s page, Somi was a guest on Battle Trip, I Can See Your Voice and Not the Same Person You Used to Know. Should these be listed as guest appearances shouldn’t be listed? And Somi has a reality series called “I Am Somi” and why couldn’t this be listed? She is a cast member and many other celebrities’ reality series could be listed. Just want to be sure of the dos and donts here, thank You! Mcdmusicman (talk) 04:20, 27 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Mcdmusicman: I removed the appearances that I knew for sure were guest roles, the ones I was unsure if I left. As far as I remember, I didn’t remove I Am Somi, but if you have a reliable source for it (a reliable secondary source, not YouTube or tweets or anything like that) then feel free to add it. You can read the discussion regarding removal of variety show appearances here for a better understanding. Alex (talk) 12:37, 27 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oh it was another user who removed I Am Somi even though there were references so I wanted to ask. Thank you so much. I still think that those articles are guest appearances only for Somi though. Since Battle Trip has its main MCs and Somi is only a traveller unlike a cast member. I can see your voice has MCs like Kim Jong-kook , Leeteuk and Lee Se-yoon while Not the Same Person You Used to Know has its own set of MCs too and Somi isn't part of those MC or cast member list. Will she be considered as a guest and should it be listed? Mcdmusicman (talk) 14:52, 27 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Mcdmusicman: As far as I know, her own show could/should be listed as long as there is a reliable secondary source to support the information. The other shows which you've mentioned are ones that I've never watched and I don't know anything about, so I'm totally unsure for those. I think @Abdotorg and Snowflake91: may have a better idea of those than I do. I've pinged them, so they will be aware of the discussion here and may reply here, if not you could try asking on their talk page. Alex (talk) 15:41, 27 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed the guesting from Somi's page, thanks for pointing it out! Somi's own show however is a grey area as it is on YouTube not a TV network, I think for now it can remain in place especially since it has a reliably sourced ref. Abdotorg (talk) 20:15, 27 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't BIGBANG considered one of the most influential groups in kpop? Why erase that from GD's article? And other relevant info on other BIGBANG members? Jamiejunes (talk) 21:40, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Jamiejunes: Because what you added iS unsourced puffery. Alex (talk) 22:12, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dude where would it be written bigbang is influential? Its common knowledge.... Do i have to provide source whether its a South Korean band or not? Or is that common knowledge? Didn't state any false facts Jamiejunes (talk) 22:15, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Jamiejunes: claims like that need to be reliably sourced. You also claimed that Daesung is is considered one of the best voaclists in South Korea, T.O.P is considered as one of the best and most influential rappers in South Korea. According to who? Who has made such claims? None of these claims are sourced. Claiming they are the best is also WP:PUFFERY, and not WP:NEUTRAL. Big Bang being a South Korean band is sourced extensively, so that isn't a valid argument. Alex (talk) 22:24, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Jamiejunes: :@Alex: Looks like Alex is a genius on sophistry. What Jamiejunes stated is basically same thing with Alex's argument.Just because Alex is old wikipedian and Jamiejunes is newbie doesn't necessarily mean that Alex is always right, or else what makes him different from Stalin and Nazi?
@Jamiejunes: :@Alex: :@ChrisTheDude: Haha~ Alex just removed my comment with tag "Nonconstructive comments.". How interesting! Afraid of being accused and too scared to ackowledge your wrong-doings? If wikipidians are all like Alex, wiki will has no future.

BTS

Hi!. Please advise how we should get relevant content to stay on an article. It is clear that other fans of BTS do not want relevant information to be listed.
