Request reason:

The systems of checks and balances just don't work here. Sorry for my little tirade but it sure as hell wasn't a threat of violence!

Decline reason:

Made clear threat to another user. Doesn't take it seriously and is likely to make further threats. --bainer (talk) 07:13, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What did I threaten to do? 66.93.251.117 19:09, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you.

Well, maybe you need to talk to that user in a nice way instead of using profanity and adding a bunch of trash to his page. Going on a tirade is not going to get anything done, and you will be blocked if it happens again. --Willy No1lakersfan (Talk - Contribs) 04:17, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I guess I'm not as tolerant as no1lakersfan, because I don't give warnings for threats of violence like this. You have been blocked for a month. I have also sent a email to the abuse department of your internet service provider, Speakeasy. Considering that it is illegal to make threats of violence against other people, I assume that it is also contrary to their terms of service, and therefore a breach of contract on your part. Maybe you should point out exactly what is a threat of violence, the comment I made might be a little out of line but it sure as hell isn't a threat violence. 66.93.251.117 05:35, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
