Atanasoff

John Atanasoff invented and architected the fisrt electronic computer. He and Clifford Berry built it, later designated the ABC Computer (Atanasoff Berry Computer) at Iowa State Univeristy in the late 30's and continued work on it until the beginning of World War II.
