Was Dunlop not the first to pioneer Anti-lock-braking systems with the Maxaret unit, used on various aircraft and a couple of production cars, such as the Jensen Interceptor FF? TiHead 16:31, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No actually it is a Bosch invention, but in my opinion it was used by "Deutsche Bahn" for its trains at first.

Bosch Tool and Accesories Corporation

I want to start a page that better describes this corporation (Bosch Tool and Accesories Corporation), including a product list and the other brands it owns(ex. Skil, Dremel). With out confusing it with it's German based parent company (Robert Bosch GmbH) 14:34, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

Any ideas or suggestions are welcome Lucas

The company has purchased several smaller rivals in the power tool industry, and owns many trademarks. It could get confusing. It is also aggressively developing new models and improvements for its older models. The company has an interesting history, since it has been based in Germany with a large and wholly owned subsidiary in the United States. Two world wars have had their effect. For example, they used Jewish slave labor and POW labor during World War II, and produced vital war material (such as engine and gun parts for aircraft and tanks) for both sides, in both wars. A Bosch (Germany) executive was a key figure in the effort to smuggle Jews out of Europe during the Holocaust, which is a mitigating factor. I am not sure how to proceed, or what sort of response this history would meet. - DP1976 15:16, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
