Seo Jung-hyup (Korean: 서정협, born 3 January 1965) is a South Korean educator and politician currently serving as acting Mayor of Seoul since 10 July 2020, as well as the the Deputy Mayor for Administration of Seoul since 2020. Prior to becoming Deputy Mayor for Administration, Seo served as the head of the Seoul Metropolitan Government's cultural department.[1] He has been the acting Mayor of Seoul following the death of incumbent Mayor Park Won-soon in July 2020.[2]
He studied international economics at Seoul National University.[3]
