Conflict of Interest caution to me: inappropriate

Hi Jooojay: If you posted this Conflict of Interest notice without already being familiar with my previous statements of independence, then I am sorry you are jumping to an unfair assumption without checking courtesy norms first. But it sounds like you may already know I have made clear that I have no relationship whatsoever with the Public Art in Public Places archives, and I would caution you against intimidation if this is the case. I will nevertheless respond to you courteously: with 200+ edits I am encouraged by WP to contribute such valid useful and relevant references (and EL in lists, where appropriate per WP:EL guidelines), including those to the extensive Public Art in Public Places archives. WP articles have benefited from data and references I have contributed, and I am sure you know you are at liberty to discuss any SPECIFIC objection you may have about any SPECIFIC REFERENCE on that article's talk page. I believe my contributions stand on their own merit, and I am always grateful for editing advice from generous fellow editors. Respectfully, and wishing you a nice day, TashaB (talk) 20:29, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Shabehr: I see no statement on your talk page - and therefore the COI notice is still valid concern. Deleting it off your talk page doesn't resolve the issue, and other editors will probably leave you new COI notices as a result. Please stop using the "Public Art in Public Places" as a reference, it's not a reliable source (see WP:RS). Also adding inline external links is not appropriate per Wikipedia guidelines, as a mentioned in the earlier post on your talk page (which is now gone). Reply Greetings - Yes, I'm sure anyone would delete your unwarranted (and discourteous) CoI notice on their talk page, and I was completely justified to do so due to your carelessly false claims. As I wrote above, your claim is inappropriate - the issue was long since addressed, and if you truly wished to send me a "gentle caution," you would have respected this. Why are you doing this? You have also just added another caution to me about "adding inline external links" - I don't know what you refer to here, because WP:EL makes clear that inline external links are highly discouraged and/or prohibited, and it seems you are claiming I have recently done so. Are you perhaps confusing IN-TEXT ONLINE REFERENCES with in-text external links? There's quite a difference and I suggest you review the WP:EL guidelines, including regarding ELs in Lists -->>> within-text online references/citations are legitimate and widespread in WP, whereas ELs on their own you must surely know are highly discouraged. Once again, I would ask that you stick to SPECIFIC issues on SPECIFIC WP articles, and please be more careful to avoid such serious claims against fellow editors you cannot support - they are hurtful and unproductive, and tend to backfire.
