Erica Burman is one of the leading figures in critical approaches to developmental psychology in the UK, and has books such as Deconstructing Developmental Psychology that have been translated into Spanish. Her work is well-known in the English-speaking world and used on many critical courses in psychology. She has spoken at international meetings in the US (Berkeley, New York, Michigan), South Africa (Durban, Cape Town, Johannesburg), Australia (Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne), Brazil (Sao Paulo), Mexico (Guadalajara). It is important that her work is recognised in this forum.
